480th ISR Wing to receive new commander

Col. Paul D. Nelson will assume command of the 480th Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Wing during a ceremony here Sept. 9 at 10:00 a.m.

Colonel Nelson is coming to Langley Air Force Base from the Air Force ISR Agency at Lackland AFB, Texas, where he served as director of plans, requirements and programs.

Colonel Nelson entered the Air Force in 1987, receiving his commission from the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps program at the University of Minnesota.
